You can use Design Studio Dashboard either as a hosted or on-site solution.

Hosted Solution
Design Studio Dashboard is hosted at KollabNet. End users will require:

• Silverlight compatible web browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome)
• MS Office Word/Excel 2003/2007
• .NET Framework 3.5 or higher
• Internet connectivity (HTTP/S ports to hosted site)
• CAD Plugin installation (such as SolidMap for SolidWorks)

On Site Solution

Design Studio Dashboard is installed on your hardware.
In addition to the requirements above, you will need:

• Database Server running Windows Server 2003/2008
• SQL Server 2008 standard or express (free)
• Typical business server hardware
• Application Server running Windows Server 2003/2008
• .NET Framework 3.5
• IIS 6.1 or higher

The .NET Framework and IIS server can be on the same physical machine, though this configuration is not recommended.
